Artur A. Stele, PhD
Artur A. Stele was born in Kazakhstan to German parents. In 1993 he received MA degree with emphasis in Old Testament and Archaeology from Andrews University, SDA Theological Seminary. In 1996 he received PhD from Andrews University, SDA Theological Seminary.
In 2000 he was elected President of the Euro-Asia Division and served in this capacity for 10 years till 2010. At the GC Session in Atlanta in 2010 he was elected General Vice-President, GC. He also served as the Director of Biblical Research Institute from 2011 till 2015. In 2015 at the GC Session in San Antonio he was reelected as General Vice-President of the GC.

Galina Stele, D.Min.
Galina Stele, D.Min., was born in Kamchatka, Russia. She worked as a professor of practical theology at Zaoksky University (Russia) for many years. Some of her favorite areas are family relationships and applied psychology. She was  a speaker at many events and wrote multiplied articles. Currently, she coordinates evaluation and global human-subject research projects at the Office of Archives, Statistics, and Research, GC.  Galina is married, has one son and one grandson.
